For those unfamiliar, two-factor authentication is where in addition to entering the right password, you will need to enter a code which is usually a one-time generated code.

Once you get it all set up, the next time you login to LastPass or another supported service, you’ll need to open the Authenticator app to either generate a 6-digit, 60-second code; approve the automated push notification; or send yourself a code via SMS. This will come in handy if you use a shared computer, or if you’re the type that always logs out of LastPass when you’re done with it.
The LastPass Authenticator app can be downloaded from the App Store for iOS, or Google Store for Android and is free of cost.
