The Bengals reasserted themselves last week against the Rams in convincing style. Andy Dalton rarely felt pressure in throwing two touchdowns, running for a third and recording a 146.8 passer rating. Jeremy Hill continues to get back on track, accruing 98 yards on the ground today.
And the Browns still will in be in the running for the No. 1 overall draft pick.
Scott: “Thus far, Bernard has greatly outperformed Hill – which is the reverse from a year ago”. Eifert, fortunately for the Browns, has a neck injury likely to keep him out of the game.
“I saw the end of that game”, Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap said. They lined up receivers in the backfield. The Browns (2-9) are well on their way to their seventh straight loss.
Scott: “This is not a fan base that is ever “completely confident” about anything – at least no fan that lived through the 1990’s!” With win, Dalton would have most road wins (23) by QB in first five seasons since 1970…. Am I going to call them elite?

Austin Davis will be thrown into this match up and he has said ahead of the game: “I hate feeling unprepared for anything, especially being quarterback on an NFL football team”.
