The last man standing will be named the victor and be granted a championship match at this year’s WrestleMania. The victor of the Royal Rumble match itself can choose to challenge for either the WWE World Championship or the WWE Universal Championship, the former exclusive to SmackDown and the latter to RAW.

The burn to this match was a slow one with the integration of Banks and Jax early in the feud. Banks is of course ready for a challenge, as she always is.
Raw’s Women’s Championship will also be up for grabs.
Oh my goodness I’m already bored just thinking about this match. The disqualification win meant that Gallows and Anderson were not the new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions. Neither team has done anything interesting since they started feuding and I have no real interest in either of them or anything they do. A recent report is claiming that Bray Wyatt might walk out of the WWE Elimination Chamber event as the WWE Champion.
Nevertheless, Carroll also adds that the Undertaker-Cena match is “questionable”.

It’s being discussed that WWE is walking a thin line with Goldberg because his current run in WWE has had a few small mistakes, but not any big ones yet. After the injury angle I think we can write that off. But yeah, Owens keeps the belt here. This is when I will probably get a beverage and a burger. The speculation is clear as Goldberg could win the title at Fastlane and defend it against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 33. The biggest example was Shane McMahon not fighting for Styles to be in the front of the poster for the WWE Royal Rumble instead of hidden in the back where he is barely seen. One WWE icon who has transcended both the past and the present is Chris Jericho, who has been one of the most entertaining wrestlers over the past 12 months. Swann accepted a match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. The victor isn’t always even the most important thing and that makes for a very interesting battle royal.
