MORE RAIN FOR TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY: The chance for showers will linger through the day on Tuesday but be ready for another round of heavier rain that will impact our area Tuesday night. Morning low temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s with afternoon highs close to 80 degrees.
The week ahead you can expect fog in the morning and a mix of clouds and sun by the afternoon. It is too early to be talking amounts, but an accumulating snow does look possible Wednesday night through Thursday evening.
The weather is certainly unseasonable, but this weekend’s high temperatures won’t break any records in Lumberton. The higher peaks will see a couple more inches of snow fall but anything below 4500′ will only see rain.
The start of next week is looking dry with partly sunny skies expected Monday and Tuesday. Increasing clouds. Highs 71 to 78.
There a few brief showers possible Saturday afternoon.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of light rain through midmorning then a slight chance of light rain and light snow before noon. Isolated thunderstorm. Southeast wind around 5 miles per hour. Sunny skies are expected into next weekend as high pressure builds into the Carolinas.
