Ms. Hernandez, who competed in the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro this past summer, triumphed over competitors James Hinchliffe, who is a race vehicle driver, partnered with Sharna Burgess, a professional dancer, and former National Football League player Calvin Johnson Jr. and his partner professional dancer Lindsay Arnold.

James and Sharna redid their Hollywood quickstep from Cirque du Soleil Night. The dance celebrated favorite and heartwarming holiday traditions and starred some of the favorite “Dancing with the Stars” dancers, including Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Carson, and Artem Chignvinstev.

“DWTS” returns to ABC for Season 24 in March 2017. The fourth couple in the finals, singer and actress Jana Kramer and partner Gleb Savchenko (who was recovering from the flu), was ousted Monday night.

James & Sharna: 10-10-10-10 from the judges for a ideal 40. Julianne thought it was the ideal fusion dance with so much content. They got 40 out of 40 points. James and Sharna received four flawless 10s from the judges. “You just have this X factor”, said Carrie Ann Inaba. During their time on “DWTS”, Laurie and Val performed a number of impressive routines. The duo also got four ideal 10s from the judges. “Fabulous dance to close a fabulous season”, Len declared.

Fans can see Hernandez dance again on the just announced DWTS tour, host Tom Bergeron announced on the finale.

“Dancing With the Stars” pro Val Chmerkovskiy addresses rumors he’s dating Season 23 contestant Amber Rose.

Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy took first place while James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess came in 2nd place.
