Lawmaker: Probe deleted Clinton emails cited in FBI report

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) – In a rare policy address by a vice presidential nominee, Democrat Tim Kaine showcased his own foreign policy expertise Tuesday and painted Donald Trump as clueless and risky when it comes to world affairs.

This detail was also buried in a story at the Los Angeles Times, which held off until the final paragraph on reporting that Federal Bureau of Investigation agents “said it was hard to determine whether accounts were compromised because they were not able to examine the 11 mobile devices used by Clinton” while at the State Department since they were “either destroyed or could not be tracked down”. Maybe it is based on either a guilt streak or an attempt to make things right in spite of a corrupt Justice Department by FBI Director James Comey, perhaps both. A Clinton victory in Florida would make it virtually impossible for Trump to overcome her advantage in the race for 270 electoral votes. Kaine also is the father of a U.S. Marine.

RADDATZ (interrupting): But Senator Kaine, she hasn’t answered questions about this.

Raddatz then questioned Kaine on whether Hillary Clinton’s so-called “reset” with Russian Federation could be characterized as a success.

She said that they “know they can count on me to be the kind of commander in chief who will protect our country and our troops”. He explained: “Well, and I think Martha, they’ve gotten a better explanation”. Trump said it was a sign of disrespect and he would have left immediately if he had been president.

In his roughly 45-minute remarks, Kaine said Trump has a “bizarre fascination” with dictators, is disrespectful of the American military and unable to grasp basic facts about American relationships with Russia, Latin and South America and the Middle East.

Hope Hicks made the clarification Tuesday, after Trump said a day earlier that he had never spoken to Pam Bondi about the issue, without providing specifics.

Donald Trump says the Mexican president violated some “ground rules” by admitting that the two did actually discuss payment of his proposed border wall between the two countries.

Raddatz interrupted, saying “Let’s go back to the reset. [Putin] is a dictator, who represses journalists―and there’s another tie, Donald Trump is banning journalists from outlets he doesn’t like from covering him on a campaign”, Kaine said. I want to talk about Secretary Clinton again. “They’re talking about Secretary Clinton there”.

The day before in swing state Ohio, Trump softened his stance on immigration while Clinton blasted Russian Federation for suspected tampering in the USA electoral process.

“My advice to her: The best way to remedy it is, talk about what you care about and talk about it with some passion”.

Kaine: “Martha, she’s had hundreds interviews in the past year”.

At a Labor Day rally here in Pittsburgh, Biden and vice presidential hopeful Tim Kaine appeared together Monday for the first time in this election cycle.

It continues: “For this reason, we support Donald Trump’s candidacy to be our next commander-in-chief”.

Kaine: “There’s been one in the last month and you’re going to see Hillary very, very accessible to the press as I will be between now and November 8”.
