Lawyer: Bills RB McCoy did nothing wrong
But I’m here to say and I’m telling you that McCoy did nothing wrong, nothing wrong. NBC10’s Cydney Long has the latest on the investigation. It has been more than a week since Philadelphia police concluded their investigation of the matter and passed it along to the District Attorney’s office for review. No arrests have been made and no charges have been brought against McCoy or anyone else. He took himself to Delaware County Memorial Hospital shortly after and was treated for a broken nose, broken ribs, a sprained thumb and a laceration to his right eye.

Per Gonzalez, the D.A. has been “pushing back” against issuing a warrant for McCoy’s arrest.
The second victim was admitted to the hospital where he received eight stitches over his left eye and is received treatment for a possible skull fracture.
“This wasn’t just an assault, this was an aggravated assault. I know there are some people who are clambering that I have it resolved one minute from now, and that wouldn’t be the prudent thing”, Williams said.
McCoy’s friends who were allegedly involved were former West Catholic High School star Curtis Brinkley, 30; McCoy’s former teammate at the University of Pittsburgh, Tamarcus Porter, 27; and Christopher Henderson, 26, according to initial incident reports. The officers got the worst of the altercation – as evidenced by a video obtained by TMZ – and charges seemed to be inevitable, especially after the Mayor of Philadelphia chimed in. “The detectives, from all accounts, were done investigating this last week”, McNesby said. “It was a sucker punch to the one officers by LeSean McCoy over a bottle of champagne and it was an all out beatdown”. As Yahoo Sports reported, there are some some serious questions about the role of the officers involved. The source said security guards suggested that McCoy leave the club “to avoid this whole public exposure”.

The Philadelphia District Attorney’s office has been noticeably silent regarding its plans for LeSean McCoy. Williams, in his statement, said his investigators are continuing to gather evidence.
