Lawyer: Cop Who Shot Philando Castile Thought He Was Robbery Suspect

Reynolds’ video was temporarily pulled from her page on Wednesday night – possibly because it was flagged by users or by Facebook’s computers for being bloody and graphic.

In the damning audio, the officer can be heard telling a dispatcher that he is going to pull over a vehicle and check IDs on the occupants because the driver looks like “people that were involved in a robbery”. “Please, officer, don’t tell me that you just did this to him”.

“You shot four bullets into him, sir”. The shootings in Louisiana, Minnesota and Texas are all in the initial investigation stages.

A minute and a half later, Castile had been shot.

With a post on his personal Facebook page, he is also highlighting the potential power of the company’s relatively new live-streaming function. She says Castile complied. She said she saw about 30 people being peacefully taken away by officers, who said they warned protesters they would be subject to arrest if they didn’t disassemble.
