Leaked 2016 MacBook chassis images hint at OLED touch panel

The recent image leak suggested that the new Apple device, MacBook Pro 2016, might include few exceptional specs and features as compared to its predecessors.

According to Ecumenical News, many are already anticipating advanced new features of the MacBook Pro Retina 2016, as all the MacBook fans and tech commentators are looking forward to the official announcement from Apple about the specs that could outdo other MacBooks that are now sold in the market.

As the photos show, nearly all of the connectors on the alleged “MacBook Pro 2016” were replaced by USB-C port connectors. They have been captured at one of the partner from one of the manufacturing centres of Apple located in China.

The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be launched in fall this year and is expected to be slimmer than its predecessor. Another picture shows an even larger area to the right of the board keys that could house a version of this OLED display with the same length as the keyboard, leaving the door to what’s possible with something like that completely open.

A Touch ID feature is also reported to be included in the MacBook Pro Retina 2016, which is a biometric system that can recognize fingerprints. One could also add shortcuts for specific apps. It is also stated that this touch bar will also be used to display notifications and help to replace the OS dock.

Earlier, there were several reports of the new MacBook Pro to be thinner and with new butterfly keys. The company will also launch iPhone 7 at the same event.

According to the latest rumors, Apple is not intending to unveil the MacBook Pro 2016 laptop at its Worldwide Developers Conference that will kick off on June 13.

Infamously accurate KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple will introduce secondary or third OLED touchpads to the MacBook Pro sometime during the fourth quarter of this year.
