The posting created speculation about its intended target, stirring up even more drama around the Cavaliers, but James refused to elaborate on his intentions.
“Yeah, I don’t care”, James said.
James and Wade are close friends and former teammates.
According to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, James and his wife, Savannah, spent some time with trainer David Alexander during their trip to Miami.
Though James sold his Miami mansion for $13.4 million over the summer, he trained on South Beach for most of September leading up to the 2015-16 campaign.
Now, before fans of the Heat go back to loving the King and thinking that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are going to be teammates once again, realize that Wade is aging and LeBron is not going to ditch the Cavaliers for a second time.
“I would love to go to L.A., but I’ll take a two-and-a-half [hour flight] over four and a half”.
James also made reference to his work ethic, saying he is always the last to leave the gym, he can go wherever he wants and he arrived back in Cleveland two hours before practice.
James was asked if he understands why some people might be upset he would meet with Wade.
Using one-word answers, James said Thursday his tweet wasn’t directed toward any Cavs player or team-related issue.
