LeBron James apologises to teammates for technical foul

LeBron James said he apologized to his team after subbing himself out of Saturday night’s game in the third quarter and leaving only four Cleveland Cavaliers players on the court, resulting in a technical foul. We have got so much work to do at this point.

Philadelphia blew a 17-point lead and dropped to 0-14. To further address the issue, the team cancelled their Wednesday practice and instead had a film viewing.

“Andy really gave us a lift”, Cavaliers coach David Blatt said.

“He’s a guy who has that size and that speed and that length”, James said. “It’s up to us to go out and produce”. Matthew Dellavedova handed out a career-high 13 assists while starting in place of Williams on Thursday and added 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting on Saturday as Cleveland won the Eastern Conference finals rematch.

Aside from Paul Pierce, there haven’t been many players who have tortured the Magic worse than LeBron James.

I have no idea what James was thinking there; the only thing that makes remote sense is that he thought Atlanta wouldn’t be able to inbound the ball as quickly as they did. It’s a mentality. We’re coming ready to play. Irving and Shumpert have not played yet for the Cavs this season after dealing with knee and wrist injuries, but both players are working their way back to full strength. The Hawks came back a bit, but the Cavs still got the victory, 109-97.

“We’re too relaxed and too nice”, James added.

Everything about this Golden State team’s pedigree points to many records being in jeopardy.

“That’s not the point”, he said.

“It was kind of disjointed in terms of how well we played at some moments and then how helter-skelter and off-keel we played at other moments”, Blatt said. You may be mad at that guy for a few days or whatever the case may be, but it never affected what we did out on the floor.

“We took the day off from the court, but we didn’t take the day off from the film room”, James said. We realized stuff like that; you realize that it’s not about you.

One of James’ teammates on the current Cleveland team is Richard Jefferson, who was Kidd’s running mate in New Jersey.

Prior to Thursday’s game, the last time Varejao played more than seven minutes in a game was in a 102-92 win over the Miami Heat in the home opener on October 30. “That’s defending at a high level and that’s not turning the ball over”. Aaron Gordon, Tobias Harris and Elfrid Peyton have shown a ton of promise this year and they’ve given a lot of quality teams all they can handle this season even if it didn’t always result in a win. They’ve been a truly dominate team when they are on their home-court and there’s no real reason to believe the Magic will be the team to change that.
