LeBron James calls ex-Cat Devin Booker a future All-Star
James’ remarks about owning an National Basketball Association team came on the first episode of a new podcast for Uninterrupted (by way of the The Plain Dealer), the relatively new platform he created for athletes. I’m going to be honest.

You can listen to the entire Open Run podcast here.
He has said he would like to own a team someday. The podcast is hosted by Jesse Williams and Stefan Marolachakis, and made it’s debut Wednesday with James as their first guest.
And although Spain have come close, being edged out in high-scoring gold medal matches by the United States in the final of both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, they headed to Rio knowing they had never managed to beat the US in competitive action. Along with winning more awards than any one person can keep track of, the do-it-all man for the Cavs has also played in the last six Finals.
Appearing on the “Open Run” podcast, which is operated by James’ company, the National Basketball Association superstar was asked who he thought was the most promising young gun in the league.
You could say he’s reached the pinnacle of his profession, and that’s part of why he signed the largest per-year contract in the National Basketball Association this offseason, despite how much it’ll cost him when the salary cap rises again next summer. Hell, James still seems to be in his prime considering the fact that he is still only 31.
“Every time I watch ’em I wish I was out there”, James said in an interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, which will air on Good Morning America Thursday. “I’m giving my body and giving my mind the best opportunity to just keep going while I can”.
LeBron James has boldly declared that he is chasing “the ghost who played in Chicago” and but did he also take shots at Michael Jordan’s legacy?
Of course, we should not forget that several top American players, including probably their best duo, Curry and James, were watching at home – if the U.S. had sent a full strength roster, they would nearly certainly beat any other nation with much more comfort. “My dream is to actually own a team”.

While James may just want to credit Jordan’s teammates, any comparison and comment can be interpreted in different ways especially when it comes to Air Jordan and his status as the Greatest of All Time (GOAT).
