LeBron James drops in at Georgetown restaurant night before Wizards game

This is only the second game James will have missed this season.

James will not play in Sunday’s matchup with the Wizards in order to rest, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.

“Just having three games in four nights, an early game and we just played in Toronto the other day”, Lue explained.

“I just felt that today’s a good game just to give him a break and give him a little rest”, Lue said.

Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Ohio and CSN Mid-Atlantic. Cleveland is coming off a 99-97 loss at Toronto where it seemed to have the game in its control in the fourth quarter, only to see the Raptors rally late.

“He didn’t want to come out”, Lue said with a chuckle, then repeated himself: “He didn’t want to come out”. In the last 14 games under Lue, both of those numbers are up, as they are scoring 109.5 points and allowing 100.4 points per game. I should’ve got him out, but he didn’t want to come out. The Wizards may not have a winning record, but they have a decent lineup that could pose problems for the Cavaliers if they cannot limit their mistakes and finish out the game. LeBron James tallied 25 points and seven assists, but Kyle Lowry shredded the Cavs for 43 points-including the game-winner at the buzzer.
