LeBron James-led Cavaliers rally past Hornets
The Toronto Raptors staked their claim as a serious Eastern Conference contender after upsetting the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-99 on Wednesday.

“He’s a guy who laid the foundation”, James said of Robertson, “and I’m just trying to carry it on”.
James however had full praise for his teammates and coaches and said that it would not have been possible without their help and the credit for it goes to Cavaliers and Miami Heats.
The last time James lost to a Charlotte team was February 19, 2010, during his first stint with the Cavaliers. Andrew Bogut did miss 15 games last season, but we saw how the Warriors played when he wasn’t on the floor in the NBA Finals or in this season. He’s praised James on TV often, but has ripped him too, including for reaching out to Jordan, Bird, and other greats about how to win a championship in 2012 – opining that a multi-time MVP shouldn’t have to call others for advice on how to win.
Kevin Love had a double-double at halftime for the Cavs and finished with 18 points and 16 rebounds despite sitting out the fourth quarter.
“We felt we had a certain lineup that was working, ” Blatt said. “It was just working well for us”.
11/23/15: Cleveland Cavaliers’ Forward Kevin Love against the Orlando Magic Monday night.
Despite the victory, it was not an easy game for the Cavs as the Hornets led by seven as late as the fourth quarter.
The Cleveland Cavaliers followed up a pep talk from LeBron James by ending their road struggles.
All five starters for Toronto ended up in double-figure scoring with Luis Scola (15 points), DeMarre Carroll (12 points) and Bismack Biyombo (11 points and 12 rebounds) all contributing in the win. Smith then extended the lead to four by a three-point shot from the right wing. Guard J.R. Smith hit a key 3-pointer down the stretch and his two free throws with 12.9 seconds remaining gave the Cavs a 94-90 lead. They were also playing just their fifth home game of the season – second lowest in the league – and were hoping the good vibes of home court would lift them past James and his Cavs. Davis turned in a masterful performance, with 26 points and 17 rebounds. Dellavedova also returned with seven points and five assists after missing a game with a calf injury. Cleveland finished the game shooting over 50% behind the 3 point line and had four players finish the game in double figures.
Newton was introduced in the third quarter and started doing the “dab” as the crowd went wild and music played in the arena.
