In a video posted in the Uninterrupted, James said, “I’m re-signing back with the Cleveland Cavaliers, man, my hometown team”.
James announced on Uninterrupted he was re-signing with the Cavs, saying a year ago “was magical and inspiring”. “We share his determination to win at the highest level and can’t wait to get back to work, together to defend our title”.

James, 31, took to the athlete-powered platform Uninterrupted to announce the new three-year deal that will make him the highest-paid player in the National Basketball Association.
The Cavaliers reversed that result this season, bringing the first professional sports championship to the OH city since 1964.
James played on one-year deals during his first two years in Cleveland.
Smith, a free agent, started 77 games for the Cavaliers last season. At the center of it all is a big Christmas Day schedule that includes the Cavs hosting the Golden State Warriors in a Finals rematch.Cavs’ 2016-17 schedule releasedABC and ESPN have certainly made note of Kevin Durant joining the already formidable Warriors.
“Without you guys, without your passion and commitment, we wouldn’t have been able to do what we did this past season”.
James, who said earlier this summer he meant to re-sign with Cleveland, will soon sign the deal, said the person who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because certain details of the deal were yet to be finalized. I’m ecstatic. I can’t wait to see all my guys.
