Drake had his buddy LeBron on stage with him as he belted out “Pop Style”, with “the King” for the Nationwide Arena.
“We got to do it for old tim sake”, Drake said as Lebron stepped onto the stage, greeted by an ecstatic audience.
The best part of the cameo from James with Drake was what Drake said after performing Pop Style with James.
The NBA Finals MVP rapped along to the chorus of the Views track, while Drake changed up some of the lyrics in honor of his guest: “Bronny, Bronny had to handle that one his way”.
LeBron addressed the crowd: “Yo one time, Columbus, Ohio, give it up for Drizzy motherfucking Drake, and one more time for my brother Future who killed this shit tonight”. “And one more time, for the man who came back home and brought a motherf***ing championship instead of doing anything different”. The Canadian native treated OH concertgoers to a LeBron James appearance.
“It’s love, man. That’s what you call a hometown hero right there”.
As expected, the crowd went bonkers for the appearance of the four-time NBA MVP.
Following his performance, the 2016 NBA MVP, who recently signed a $100 million contract with the Cavs gave a shout out to Drake. Way to celebrate, LeBron!
