LeBron James posted 33 points and 11 rebounds, Kevin Love also had a double-double via 20 points and 12 rebounds, while Kyrie Irving had 30 points.

Two nights after an embarrassing 38-point rout in Cleveland that put underrated Toronto on the ropes, the Raptors battled hard, but couldn’t make shots against a Cavs team that seemingly couldn’t miss.

After reaching his sixth straight NBA Finals, James now has his sights set on ending a 52-year championship drought for the city of Cleveland, whose last title was the Cleveland Browns’ NFL championship in 1964.

“Having these guys right here at full strength, having our team at full strength, and the way I feel personally, I appreciate this moment, to be able to be a part of it and to be there once again”, said James who is going to his sixth consecutive NBA Finals.

Currently, the Thunder lead the series 3-2 and play Game 6 tomorrow in Oklahoma City.

In the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder has a 3-2 lead against the reigning champions Warriors.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said the gameplan called for James to attack early.

The big man only managed 18 minutes in Game 5 after an ankle injury, but given more minutes and hopefully more of the ball, Toronto have a legitimate scoring threat inside. He (James) has that type of mindset, that razor-like focus that you’ve got to fight against, you’ve got to overcome.

“There may be a time when I may have to have one of those big games, but until then, just relax”.

Cleveland made five more 3-pointers in the second and outscored Toronto 9-3 over the final 71 seconds to lead 55-41 at halftime.

The Toronto Raptors will need to forget everything about Thursday’s 116-78 drubbing at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers if they want to force a decisive Game 7.

“But that’s a challenge we all accept, and we’re looking forward to it, but as of right now, it sucks”. “It means everything”, James revealed after the win.

Asked how his body felt after a gruelling playoff run, DeMarre Carroll looked at his questioner and asked “How long are you here for?” “Our fans deserve it. But that gives us no sense of entitlement”.

“Getting back to the championship with everybody healthy, it’s our chance to really show what we can do”, said Lue, praising James for helping the Cavaliers get off to a solid early start with a 14-point display in the first quarter.

Lowry checked out with 2:38 to play, to a warm ovation from the fans and a huge hug from coach Dwane Casey.

The cheers and celebrations, despite the loss, went on well after the final buzzer had sounded. “They’ve got a lot better veterans from Channing Frye to (Richard) Jefferson”.
