LeEco launches “superphones” Le Max and Le 1S in Indian market

LeTv, now known as LeEco, is all set to launch its new Le Max smartphone in India at a special event in Delhi today. On the other hand the budget Le 1S smartphone costs Rs 10,999 with 32GB storage.

Meanwhile, the Le Max takes the place of a flagship featuring the massive 6.33-inch 2K display.

The full metal unibody design out of aircraft grade aluminum makes the phone fashionable and sturdy, and Le Max is also the world’s first full-floating glass, which is a Sharp Screen exclusively for LeEco, and bezel-less design, reaching an unmatched viewing experience.

LeEco has partnered with AKG Acoustics to develop the Le Hi-Fi experience which delivers a powerful, undistorted sound that music professionals have trusted for nearly 70 years. The registration for both the phones starts today.

The Le Max sports a 21-megapixel camera on the rear with Optical Image Stabilisation and dual-LED flash. The Le Max smartphone will be available to buy on Feb 16. It comes with 64GB of on-board storage. In April 2015, the company had officially announced their plans to venture into the smartphone business by launching the LeTV Le One, Le One Pro, and Le Max. A 3400 mAh battery resides within the phone. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB storage. Up front, there is a 4-megapixel f/2.0 selfie camera with 2.0um micron pixel size. It also comes with a 21MP rear camera and a fingerprint sensor besides other specifications. For connectivity the phone supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G LTE.

LeEco Le 1s runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of EUI 5.5 UI It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. The device also features a fingerprint scanner placed at the back, which the company calls LeTouch. It not only gives users the best multimedia experience and gaming experience without any lag or interruption, but also allows a quick charge which means 5 minutes of charging gives 3.5 hours of talk time.
