The Premier League duo, who now 19th and 11th in the standings respectively, have registered their interest among the heavyweight likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United in monitoring the Championship midfielder closely this campaign.
Cook, 18, has already made 50 league appearances for the Yorkshire outfit but is being linked with a £10million move away from Elland Road.
The teenager looks set to be one for the future, and as such, it’s little surprise that there’s such considerable interest from the EPL, as heavyweight sides look to secure the shining talent for themselves.
Prior to Jurgen Kloop’s appointment at Anfield, Liverpool also pondered Cook as a transfer target.
It is reported that Bournemouth are going to make a £10 million bid for the player when the window opens, which will no doubt begin a bidding war for the player.
A Leeds source told the tabloid newspaper, “He knows he will have to leave Leeds to fulfil his ambitions and he wants to play in the Premier League”. Would he be better off starting at Bournemouth or Stoke?
