Legend Henry criticises Arsenal for over-working Sanchez
Sanchez limped out of Arsenal’s 1-1 draw at Norwich City on Sunday with a hamstring injury.

Wenger insisted after the game that Sanchez had told him he was fit to play, but Henry believes the manager should have rested him anyway.
The Christmas period is one of the most hectic parts of the English season, and Arsenal have nine of their best players in the infirmary. I thought he showed his quality there and I’m really pleased he got his goal.
“The players are there to play football and not to be rested and not for the press to decide if they need to be rested”, he said, as reported by TalkSPORT. “At the moment we are a bit short because of injuries”.
“We checked it (Sanchez’s hamstring) When you have normal force and normal stretch there is no problem and he had that”.
But that would still leave Kieran Gibbs, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck, Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky – as well as Sanchez and Cazorla – in the treatment room.
Wenger confirmed that Sanchez had a hamstring problem before the game and yet he risked him against Norwich – a decision that completely backfired.
It was the second straight Premier League disappointment for the Gunners after a loss to West Bromwich Albion last weekend, and they missed the chance to move level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City and Leicester.
Wenger added: “On the injury front it was a bad afternoon for us”. It is a nightmare how we played the first two games.
Sanchez, taking advantage of the goalkeeper’s mistake, played in Mesut Ozil, who made it 1-0 in the 30th minute.
Arsene Wenger admitted after the game he was fearing the worst and it seems those concerns were well placed as the Mirror claim Sanchez has been ruled out for at least three weeks.
“Nobody is scientifically developed enough to predict when a guy will get injured”.

“Obviously we can do it, but also it’s not going to be easy because it is a good team and it is going to be a great atmosphere over there, but I think we have the team spirit to do it”. Wenger has confirmed that Cazorla also suffered a knee injury during the match. Koscielny we will have to assess tomorrow, he has a hip problem. We will have to asses them.
