Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced he will play his last home game for PSG on Saturday.

And Ibrahimovic confirmed on his Twitter page that Saturday’s game will be his last for PSG ahead of the next move in a distinguished career.

However, with 19 minutes left at Matmut Atlantique on Wednesday, Ibrahimovic came off injured and was replaced by Jean-Kevin Augustin.

Ibrahimovic told Goal that he was yet to make a decision on his future earlier this week, but confirmed he was in talks with a host of other clubs.

“I would like to thank my team-mates, the technical staff and all the people in the club”.

It has also been reported that the 34-year-old, who has played for seven different clubs in his career, could return to AC Milan.

United would arguably represent the best possible fit in England for Ibrahimovic given what he can bring and what would be around him in the squad, but it all hinges on Van Gaal’s exit this summer.

The money that can be offered by clubs in both Qatar and China will always ensure that they are attractive propositions for any footballer. I loved every single day I spent here.

He leaves as the club’s record goalscorer despite only joining in 2012, netting 152 goals in only 178 appearances. They have been fantastic since the day of my arrival. “Because I see and I can understand that he has huge motivation to play his final match at the Parc des Princes”.

With PSG having been crowned champions in record quick time two months ago and Bordeaux safely in mid-table after pulling clear of trouble, this match had a distinct end-of-season feel to it. “A page is turning with our major player (leaving), it’s quite sad but our project continues”.
