Leicester can win Premiership says Mourinho
Ranieri won November’s Manager of the Month with striker Jamie Vardy collecting the players’ award after he broke a league record by scoring in his 11th consecutive game last month.

Mourinho said: “If it was his decision to buy Frank Lampard, to buy Eidur Gudjohnsen, to buy Claude Makelele, then these were great decisions”.
Mourinho was unhappy to see Garry Monk lose his job as Swansea boss this week and criticised the culture of firing managers. I’m not sure if finishing fourth was a “dream” for Chelsea at the start of the season – for the record, it definitely wasn’t – but that’s the situation they’re in after an incredible slump to start the season.
Mourinho said: “The fans are being absolutely unbelievable with us”.
“If we are where we are it’s because we are under-performing and if Leicester is where they are, it’s because manager and players are doing magnificently well”.
“I think Chelsea for me means a lot because it was my first team here (in England)”.
Can Leicester City win the Premier League title this season?
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho agrees with Leicester City counterpart Claudio Ranieri that a top-four Premier League finish remains possible and challenged the champions to kick-start their domestic resurgence against the division’s surprise package.
The man who replaced him was none other than a young Mourinho.
“We are going in a good direction in terms of the level of individuals and the team consistency”. I would love to be in their position, obviously, but the reality is I am pleased where they are.
The Premier League holders lost at home to Bournemouth, who are dealing with a massive amount of injuries to key players but continue to fight hard for every point they can get.
“We can get a run of four or five wins in a row and we can finish fourth. While it is mathematically possibly, we have to try”, BBC Sport quote him as saying.
“When he went to Inter was when I felt what I always feel, which is I always want Inter to win, doesn’t matter who the manager is”. I said a few weeks ago that I did not believe that they could be champions, maybe I need to reconsider.

“When it is the end of a period, I think it’s normal in football”, Mourinho said, with a shrug. “Because one thing is to be top of the league in September after a handsome start, another thing is to be top of the league in December, that’s a completely different story”. “Another thing is to be top in December”.
