Romelu Lukaku has had a fine season for Everton scoring 18 league goals but the front two really picks itself, Vardy and Kane.

Monreal has also been hugely important to us this year, thoroughly displacing Kieran Gibbs in the fight for regular first-team action, and the Spaniard has been by far the best left-back in the country, if not the best defender altogether.

The Frenchman has lit up the Premier League since his summer arrival from Ligue 1 and he now has nine goals and nine Premier League assists to his name, having teed up Andy Carroll’s opener on Wednesday night.

Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin and West Ham’s French playmaker Dimitri Payet make up the team. Foxes trio; Kante, Mahrez and Vardy, make up half of the six man shortlist.

Hector Bellerin’s fine season has been capped off with inclusion in the PFA Team of the Year.

On Sunday April 24, and the 43rd PFA Awards which will be held at Grosvenor House in London, the Player and Young Player of the Year Awards will be announced.

Spurs are five points behind Leicester in the title race with four matches of the season remaining.

Mauricio Pochettino has banned Tottenham’s star duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli from attending the PFA Awards on Sunday evening.
