Leicester Now Just One Win Away From Title

Leicester began the season as 5,000-1 outsiders, but victory at Manchester United on Sunday will guarantee the first league title in the club’s 132-year history.

“It’s important for the foreign players who come here know that they have to integrate themselves in your culture, the English culture, and not the opposite way”. Spurs have just seen a potential Premier League trophy slip out of reaching distance after the Lilywhites drew 1-1 at home against West Brom.

“When you do not kill the game, you always allow them to believe”, explained Pochettino after Albion defender Craig Dawson made amends for his 33rd-minute own-goal by heading home an equaliser 17 minutes from time.

“There have obviously been a few comments from managers and players saying they want Leicester to win but we’ve just got to go out there and do our job”. We need to use this experience in the future.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino echoed Kane’s sentiments, but admitted he was disappointed that his side were unable to walk away with three valuable points on Monday.

Spurs’ title ambitions are now hanging by a thread.

But he did provide an update on Alli’s midfield partner Eric Dier who was forced off following the West Brom leveller.

Although referee Mike Jones missed the incident, Alli could still face retrospective action in the form of a misconduct charge and a three-match ban that would rule him out of Spurs’ final games.

“We have Chelsea next”.

Nevertheless, Europe’s elite clubs may try their luck for the Frenchman if they are in need of a top class goalkeeper in the summer transfer window.

“Is it over? No, it’s not, because the gap is seven points and there are three left to play”, said Pochettino. With 40 points the Baggies are all but safe for another season in the Premier League.”This is a tough team to beat and they’ve showed that in the last couple of seasons under Tony Pulis”, insisted the Belgian.

‘Plenty of 5000/1 backers took sums midway through the season when it looked in the balance, but we wonder what our man didn’t like about the 4-2 win on the opening day of the season’. Stating that they played a “very good” first half with “high intensity”. In the second half, Dawson became the fourth Premier League player this year to score both in his own and the opponent’s net.

Speaking at the Dublin launch of this summer’s International Champions Cup, he explained: “You see they are proactive”.

Meanwhile Harry Kane was left to rue a frustrating night in north London, where the hosts struck the woodwork three times. I think it’ll be Leicester.

“If they [Leicester] lose the next game, you just never know with the pressure”.

Little doubt now remains over whether Leicester City will go on to win the title. It’s not in our hands, it’s in Leicester’s hands.

“That game was turning from the first minute of the second half”, the former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder told Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football programme afterwards.
