I wanted to sign only for two years.

Leicester will earn £93 million (S$182.6 million) from the distribution of Premier League television money if they are crowned champions, £21 million more than last season, but the full financial value of winning the title will not be apparent to the club until next year. For the first time in the club’s life, they can win the title.

Even if they do not win, Claudio Ranieri and his players could soon be celebrating.

United, though, is desperate to remain in the hunt for Champions League qualification and will be brimming with confidence after booking an FA Cup final place with a last-gasp Anthony Martial victor against Everton at Wembley last weekend. After offloading several experienced players, he has given first-team experience to many who have come through United’s academy.

A stadium which has seen more of the Premier League Trophy than any other will likely have 75,000 plus people in attendance as Manchester United, who themselves are still scrapping for the final Champions League spot, look to postpone the party.

If they lose at United, they will still win the title on Monday night if Spurs are beaten at Chelsea.

United have won 13 Premier League titles but the Foxes are 90 minutes away from upsetting the establishment and Schlupp feels he owes the Red Devils for helping him achieve his dream.

Manchester United will be looking to finish this season on the top four of the EPL table; this might entail for a tense-filled game today. A turbulent summer saw Claudio Ranieri take over from Nigel Pearson who had led the team to a dramatic comeback from the brink of relegation.

“I think we have sent a message to everyone who has been a bit negative about us”, Simpson said ahead of the United test.

The youngster has been a regular under Louis van Gaal this season, making 35 appearances in all competitions and registering five goals after coming through the ranks at Old Trafford. I think they will be champions a week later.

Blind has demonstrated his versatility ever since moving to Old Trafford in 2014, the former Ajax man used as a left-back, a left wing-back, a central midfielder and a centre-half at various points in the last two seasons. “We don’t spoil the party, only postpone it a little bit”. The ones still on the sidelines are Bastian Schweinsteiger, Adnan Januzaj and Luke Shaw.
