Leicester’s Claudio Ranieri still confident over title chances despite West Brom draw
Leicester City were held to a 2-2 draw by West Bromwich Albion at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night as they dropped what could be key points in the title race.

The Baggies took the lead in the first half through striker Salomon Rondon, but the Foxes fought back in typical fashion when a Danny Drinkwater strike and a wonderful curling effort from Andy King put them in the lead. We were very calm, we started to build, scored a goal and went 2-1 up.
“People are saying Champions League football which is brilliant but with 10 games to go there is a lot of points to be won so we have to make sure we are there or thereabouts”. We were a little unlucky but I am more confident now than after the game against Norwich.
He said: “We have to make sure we finish strong to actually achieve something rather than say, “We had a good three quarters of the season and it fizzled out”.
“We have to continue to play our football, be intelligent, and take the right moment”.
“Now we are focused on West Brom, we know we can win, lose or draw but it’s not important what the other teams do”. “Arsenal have the players who can do everything, they can win every match”. I just watch my team.
“I can’t wait to see Huthy later, he got banged out of the way and that doesn’t happen very often”, he added. We try to do ur best. They must grow up with the pressure, that is good, but for us it’s not important to win the title.
Spurs sit two points behind league leaders Leicester ahead of two crunch London derbies, with a trip to West Ham to come on Wednesday before the grudge match on Saturday against Arsenal. It’s a fantastic point for us, but now the game’s over, I just hope Leicester City win the league.
But at this stage of the season, victories are the only things that matter, and Leicester created enough opportunities against West Brom to have claimed the three points. “The way the team is set up, the balance, the enthusiasm, the commitment, every Leicester City supporter should be proud of their team. They made fantastic goals so well done to them but also well done to my players”.

“Last night was very frustrating for us, we dominated the game, had a lot of possession, had a lot of chances and on any other night would have scored more goals”.
