FA Cup holders Arsenal start their title defence with a home tie against Premier League strugglers Sunderland today.

Tottenham fell at this hurdle to the same opponents past year and will be desperate to avoid a similar scenario this time around. Kick-off is at 16:00.

The Gunners, who have already beaten the Black Cats 3-1 in the league, have Laurent Koscielny to thank for a late victor against Newcastle which kept them top of the league standings. With Tottenham seeming to look like firm favorites for one of the European places, the English global will prove to be the difference for Spurs in the coming months.

Importantly, both of those aforementioned strikers finished the campaign with at least 30 goals to their name, with Suarez becoming only the seventh player to do so in Premier League history.

Given a choice, Leicester would no doubt prefer a cup exit and three points in the Premier League than the other way around. Mousa Dembele is the only injured first teamer.

Tottenham drew 1-1 at Goodison Park against Everton on Sunday.

“It’s not about resting players”, Pochettino said.

Clinton N’Jie and Alex Pritchard are both long-term absentees. The England worldwide is out for this one after having minor groin surgery in the week.

Do not expect Ranieri to make too many changes for the trip to north London as consistency, rather than tinkering, has helped Leicester become one of the season’s surprise packages.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Kante, Albrighton; Ulloa, Okazaki.

And the Italian has been impressed by the way counterpart Mauricio Pochettino has assembled a talented squad of youngsters.

I say to my physio I do not want to lose him for a long time. If they are better than us, well done to Tottenham. Leicester have never won it, losing in a record four finals, yet with six performances they could put that right and land a first major trophy since the 2000 League Cup.

“It’s important, they have some good players, the players deserve the credit, the manager has done an unbelievable job”. “Other clubs may come to us but we don’t need money so they will have to increase [a bid] for us even to start to think”. We still want to win but [today] is an opportunity for players who did not play so far.
