Leicester’s Vardy given one-game ban
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy has been banned for an extra game and will miss Sunday’s trip to Manchester United, where the Foxes could clinch the English Premier League title.

Vardy was hit with the charge for his reaction to being sent off by referee Jon Moss, who had shown him a second yellow card for simulation, while the Foxes were accused of failing to control their players.
The England worldwide missed the Foxes’ league match against Swansea City at the weekend after being sent off against West Ham United at the King Power Stadium on April 17.
Leicester City will be without striker Jamie Vardy at Manchester United.
United have not lost at home to Leicester in the league since 1998 and their impressive record over the club could see the title race extend to the penultimate weekend of the season.
However, the 29-year-old was not missed in their following fixture against Swansea City, with replacement Leonardo Ulloa scoring twice in a 4-0 win.
The England global missed Sunday’s 4-0 home win over Swansea, and with Tottenham drawing on Monday night, the Foxes now only need one win in their final three games to secure the title.

Second-placed Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with West Brom on Monday closed the gap to seven points but their failure to win means Leicester only need three points from their final three games to take the title. Leo [Ulloa] was man of the match and Jeff [Schlupp] has come in and was excellent. We have had a settled team but we have always known the players who are trying to get in the team can do well.
