Leicester thrashing has set bar high for Liverpool, says Lallana
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has challenged his players to play at the same high level that saw them dispatch champions Leicester City at Anfield on 10 September in every game.

In fifth place, they have a real opportunity to embed themselves in the Champions League bracket.
While it’s understandable that Klopp doesn’t want to get complacent during matches, surely fans signing his name won’t affect the performance from the players.
“Yes, I am in a good way, but you have to work”.
Roberto Firmino opened and closed the scoring, with Sadio Mane enhancing his reputation as one of the buys of the summer with Liverpool’s second and Lallana himself scoring the important third.
“I’m just pleased because it is a great compliment to be compared to the legendary players, but I am still young and learning and need to give my best for the team”.
“I wanted to say this, because (at the time) nobody could understand me”.
“One of our strengths last season was when we lost a match (there was a) very good reaction and I am awaiting a very good reaction in Brugge”.
In the second half, Liverpool dominated the game.
“They played so well, ” Ranieri said. We havnt turned bad overnight. “It made sense to show the new stand to the boys a little bit earlier because it’s really so different, so big, so nice, everything”.
It was a sobering evening for Leicester, who have lost twice already this season, having been defeated just three times in their title-winning campaign. We were waiting for this type of football, very aggressive.
Firmino (two), Mane and Adam Lallana scored the hosts’ goals and they were only briefly troubled when stand-in centre-back Lucas Leiva panicked on the ball and inexplicably passed to the unmarked Jamie Vardy six yards out.
“When we spoke about the transfer window – are you really sure?”

The win was Liverpool’s first in the league since the opening day against Arsenal, and the challenge now is to maintain consistency, something they have failed to achieve under Klopp.
