“We feel the same way”, Ferrara responded. She was joined by “Superstore” star America Ferrera, who spoke of her Honduran parents and their struggles raising a family on meager salaries.

“I am profoundly grateful for the access and opportunity that exists in this extraordinary nation”, Ferrera said.

She said that Hillary Clinton has spent her career proving that she doesn’t see race or economic status “but our capacity to grow into thriving adults, capable of contributing great things to this country”.

She says her revolution looks like a “woman finally having a seat at the table – at the head of the table”.

She noted that when Clinton was first lady, she talked of how “women’s rights are human rights”.
