Lenovo K4 Note already has a successor, meet K5 Note

Soon after unveiling the K4 Note in India, Chinese multinational company Lenovo has launched its successor, the K5 Note smartphone in China.

About the camera entrance, the unit comes with autofocus, a y/2.2 aperture, and dual tone LED display with a 13MP main camera.

The dual-SIM dual-4G Lenovo K5 Note features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display, same as the K4 Note. $167/Rs 11,400), which pretty much the same as Lenovo K4 Note price in India.

The K5 Note is an entry level smartphone with a large screen, decent hardware and good battery life.

The Lenovo K5 Note retails for 1099 yuan which is about $167 at the current exchange rate, the device is launching in China this week. If you compare the specifications with the recently released K4 Note, Lenovo has reduced the amount of RAM in K5 Note.

Under the hood, the upgraded handsets is powered by a Mediatek Helio P10 SoC with 64-bit processor along with 2GB RAM. Another highlight feature of the handset is its fingerprint scanner, placed below the camera module on the rear panel, though a similar sensor is on board the Vibe K4 Note as well. The device has an internal storage fo 16GB and is expandable upto 128GB via microSD. The K5 utilises Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS with Lenovo’s proprietary Vibe UI on top. It measures 152.00 x 75.70 x 8.49 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 158.00 grams. Just like most of the other Lenovo phones, the K5 Note is fitted with a 1.5W speaker on the rear along with the Dolby Atmos Surround system. The device comes with a support for 4G LTE along with other usual connectivity options such as GPRS / EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB.
