Lenovo has launched its new smartphone Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus in India. It’s slightly smaller sibling, the standard Lenovo Vibe K5, has a smaller screen and lower power SoC, and was set at approximately Rs. 8,800, or roughly $129. Moreover, it will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from March 23 via open sale.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus was announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona alongside the Vibe K5. The budget smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and a pixel density of 441ppi (pixels per inch). The device will be available in Champagne gold, Platinum silver, and Graphite Grey colour variants. Further, the smartphone has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with five-piece lens and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor.
Lenovo has recently focused on the audio chops, and the Vibe X3 is the best example. It would be a tough road ahead for the Vibe K5 Note but Lenovo phones have done well in India. Lenovo had earlier launched the TheatreMax technology in the K4 Note smartphone. Be it games or videos, TheaterMax can convert them into “immersive large screen experience boasting smooth graphics, life-like surround sound and responsive 3D gameplay”.
The Handset is equipped with a 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expandable storage up to 128GB via. microSD card. Besides, there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port. The Vibe K5 Plus is packed with a 2750 mAh battery to last an entire day.
The Vibe K5 Plus has full metal body and this device is light device having weight of 142 grams and thickness of 7.9mm.

The dualSIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Vibe UI and supports 4G LTE connectivity and Dolby audio technology.
