Lenovo Lemon X Smartphone To be Designed by Motorola

Of course, at this point in time and with the device not yet being official, there is no way to actually tell if the Lenovo smartphone is indeed Motorola-designed. It suggests that there will be a row of capacitive home, back, and multitasking buttons under the display, as compared to Moto lineup with only virtual onscreen controls. Furthermore, the rear camera and the LED flash are placed inside a pill-shaped panel, another design detail reminding of Motorola.

In case you don’t know, Lenovo acquired Motorola Mobility from Google past year in October. This has been not seen in any Motorola smartphones, which makes it clear that this Lenovo handset doesn’t include all of Motorola’s design cues.

Lemon X could be the product of Lenovo’s Mobile Business Group because the company wants to drive the overall mobile business, so they will rely on Motorola to design, develop and manufacture smartphone products for now. Well, a press render of the upcoming phone has now leaked online, and from the looks of it, the device seems to resemble recent Moto X installments, especially from behind.

Besides the leaked image itself, there is no other information about the device now available. Moreover, it will be equipped with fingerprint sensor and on the front side it has dual speaker on top and bottom of the device.

Rumored as variation of the Moto X for the USA market, the Moto X Force is alleged to offer a 5.43-inch shatterproof QHD display and a 3760mAh battery. For now though, we will just have to wait and see what Lenovo has in store for the smartphone world going forward.
