Lenovo is partnering with Razer on special editions of its Y series devices that pack both the performance users would expect from a gaming rig as well as Razer’s signature design cues, such as multi-hued Chroma lighting, Engadget reports. The first prototype of product of the partnership project is now on display at Dreamhack Winter LAN party in Sweden.

The full Razer Edition Y Series will feature a wide spectrum of devices including gaming desktops, laptops, keyboards, headsets and mice. “Lenovo will employ its system design and engineering expertise, while Razer will enhance the immersive experience for gamers”.
“We think our affiliation is a burly first step, which will result in the delivery of appealing PC gaming solutions and a spic-and-span experience to our clientele”, Rios added up.
The details as far as specs and configuration options for the desktop shown are not known, and this seems to be primarily a new branding/style for the Y-series line.
As a result of its gaming-hardware partnership with Razer, Lenovo will be able to seek Razer’s collaboration in designing gamer PCs.
