There are also two new Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga laptops, which are the 260 and 460.

Most importantly, Lenovo says these are its first to offer LTE-Advanced wireless WAN, for connecting up to 3x faster than LTE.

Lenovo has launched new range of laptops and desktops for small and medium enterprises at the IFA 2015 in Berlin.

Next up is the Lenovo S-series all-in-on desktop PCs, which offers business with a wide range of configurations and screen sizes to choose from, including including 19.5-inch and 21.5-inch or 23-inch full HD displays with optional touchscreen to make the most out of the new Windows 10 operating system.

There are also several new non-ThinkPad portables being rolled out. The AMD versions are comparable with the Intel-based ones, with up to 16GB memory, the same storage options and AMD Radeon discrete graphics hardware.

The Miix 700 will not arrive until January 2016, but with prices starting at €999 (£737) it is likely to prove popular, coming as it does with a keyboard folio, kickstand and optional Intel RealSense Camera. One thing to note about the E51 is the lengthy list of pre-installed apps; though ostensibly part of its “productivity” appeal, you may recall the issues from earlier this year surrounding Lenovo and “crapware” loaded on its systems. The S400z and S500z both offer Skylake processors, and while the S200z only provides a choice of either a Pentium or Celeron, it does include a built-in carrying handle.

Besides, the main change that is the laptop’s color, the new Yogas also come with Windows 10 pre-installed and arrive with an unnamed 6th-generation CPU, probably a Skylake U installed, 16GB of DDR3L and optional PCIe SSDs.

“Small and medium businesses are looking for PC solutions to reduce IT headaches and increase efficiency and collaboration between employees in the office and on the road”, said Lenovo when announcing the products. The larger E560 also comes with a VGA port for legacy connections and an optical disc drive. The Lenovo ThinkPad E460, E465, E560 and E565 will be available from November at a starting price of $549 and $479 respectively. The larger E560 and E565 will start at $549 and $479.
