Lenovo Yoga Book Now Available To Pre-Order From $500

Back at IFA 2016, Lenovo unveiled their insane new Yoga Book that includes two screens, stylus support, a “Halo Keyboard”, and can run either Android or Windows 10 depending on the model you purchase. Well folks, that time is now as Lenovo has put both the Android and Windows 10 models of the Yoga Book up for preorder on their online store. The device went on pre-order in the United Kingdom just last week at prices ranging from £429.99 ($560) for the Android version to £509.99 ($664) for the Windows 10 model. Pre-orders can be placed right now but the notebooks won’t start shipping until next month.

All models are said to ship on October 17th, and so it will be interesting to see just how popular of a device this will actually be.

The Lenovo Yoga Book is the latest in a growing list of devices that come with the convertible form-factor which allows users to either use it as a regular laptop or as a tablet PC. It also comes with Capacitive Touch and AnyPen Technology. Powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5 processor, the Yoga Book sports a 10.1-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels, further featuring 4 GB of RAM, 8 MP and 2 MP cameras (rear and front), 64 GB of expandable storage space, and an 8500 mAh battery. BaronHK adds, “Yoga 900 ISK2 at Best Buy is not labeled as a Signature Edition PC, but apparently it is one, and Lenovo’s agreement with Microsoft includes making sure Linux can’t be installed”. On the software side of things, the device will be available with two different operating systems as mentioned already.

Signature Edition devices run Windows 10 with no bloatware or other pre-installed apps, and the operating system is specifically tuned for performance, according to Microsoft itself.
