Leroy Sane set for bumper deal
City coach Pep Guardiola confirmed on Wednesday that he is interested in signing Sane, although he said the two clubs are now far apart in their respective valuations, with Schalke reportedly seeking £45million.

The German worldwide has been linked with Pep’s side over the past number of weeks, with the Spanish manager confirming (via The Independent) that both clubs have spoken but no deal is in place.
“Of course we talk to him – Schalke know we are interested but at this moment we don’t have many possibilities to get him,”Guardiola said after Man City’s match against Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup, according to Sky Sports”.
The report sates that City have agreed a £42 million transfer fee with Schalke, making Sane the second most expensive a German player after Mesut Ozil who joined Arsenal for £42.5min 2013.
Leroy Sane had a great season for Schalke.
“There is a difference [in opinion] between Manchester City and Schalke and it is quite big”.
Since the former Barcelona coach officially succeeded Manuel Pellegrini, City have acquired Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito, Aaron Mooy and Oleksandr Zinchenko, and they are still seeking to further supplement their squad for the campaign ahead.

Still only 20 years old, Sane started 23 Bundesliga games last season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists.
