LeSean McCoy stands by Chip Kelly comments
LeSean McCoy brushed aside questions about his return to Philadelphia on Monday, saying “you all know who’s next”. McCoy spent his first six seasons with the Eagles and Tuesday his current teammates talked about just how important this game is for him. The Eagles and Bills agreed not to inform the players involved, McCoy and linebacker Kiko Alonso, until the deal was approved. I felt bad that I didn’t get a chance to talk to him.

“I have no problem with LeSean”, Kelly said.
“I have no issue with Chip. The way we handled it with St. Louis is the way it should be, and I think Jeff Fisher did a really good job with that”. “Knowing how I am I would’ve been going insane, but seeing them go through it and me being the last person, I’ve got to be a professional”. “That’s the main concern and so I have to do a good job of controlling that”.
Those were the final words LeSean McCoy spoke before leaving the podium following the Buffalo Bills’ Week 13 win over the Houston Texans.
“I don’t know how it will go Sunday but I got all respect for them”, McCoy said of Eagles fans.
The Bills have player availability but McCoy did not talk to the media. “I enjoyed coaching him”. “I’ve said that before”.
“I’m not gonna change anything I say”, McCoy said on 94WIP, when asked about the racial comments made back in May. “One thing about myself, I would never take back nothing I say”. I think he was a great player here. But McCoy probably feels he was worth the near $12 million cap hit he was scheduled to have, and considering he’s the leading rusher in franchise history and was just a year removed from finishing as the runner-up in the MVP race, who am I to argue that? He added that he’s also learned from watching how other players and Ryan have handled playing their former teams this season. I texted him I was done. “I have nothing negative to say about him”.
Love him or hate him, McCoy will provide a big challenge to the Eagles’ defense this weekend.

As for the game, emotions will be high for the former three-time Pro Bowl Eagles running back, as his 6-6 Bills face the 5-7 Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
