The hacker also uploaded a video in tribute to gorilla Harambe and positioned it at the top of the site. “All this cause I did a movie”.

Many Twitter users called her an ape and compared her to Harambe, the gorilla that was killed at the Cincinnati zoo in May. This time, Leslie’s dissenters have hacked her website. As happened when she was bombarded with hateful Twitter messages in July, there has been an outpouring of tweets in support of Jones.

The website has now been taken down.

Business Insider reached out to Jones’ rep for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
