Leslie Jones’ Website Hacked – Celebrities React!

The content entailed the same type of racist, sexist hate mongering that Jones was besieged with in July through Twitter.

The “Ghostbusters” actress was also targeted on Twitter last month with a barrage of racial slurs and obscene photos.

Jones’ site remained offline Thursday and the actress-comedian has stayed away from social media since the Wednesday attack.

Girls star Lena Dunham tweeted: “Let’s turn our anger at trolls into love for Leslie Jones and into strategies to protect all the heroines who don’t deserve this”. She’s talented and wonderful. “Now I know. You can’t be nice and communicate with fans ’cause people insane”.

“What’s happening to [Leslie Jones] is an absolute outrage”, he wrote.

After the information appeared on the site Wednesday, Twitter users took to the social media platform to voice negative opinions of the photos.

“What scared me was the injustice of a gang of people jumping against you for such a sick cause”.

Jones is known to Breitbart readers after her complaints of harassment led to Milo Yiannopoulos being permanently banned from Twitter. “People should be able to express diverse opinions and beliefs on Twitter”, a Twitter spokesperson said in a statement.

However, the damage was done and the hackers were able to publicly share Jones’ driver’s licence, passport and private photos. Photos of her personal information were posted online. The FBI is not involved, according to a representative.

The social media company permanently suspended numerous accounts and announced a new “quality filter” earlier in August, which is created to allow users to deal with trolls and abusive posts, according to a BBC report.
