Lesnar flagged for potential doping

Samoan Hunt, however, has furiously hit out and demanded action as Lesnar is now the third UFC opponent he has faced that has been flagged for a doping violation.

After his victory, Lesnar left open the possibility of a return to the UFC, taking confidence that Hunt couldn’t take him down. “I’ve told Dana that I want a release from the UFC if they don’t sort this out”.

USADA will announced what Lesnar tested positive for unless Lesnar publicly comments on it first. Because the results had yet to come back in time, Lesnar was still allowed to fight Hunt at UFC 200 on July 9 in Las Vegas.

“The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Brock Lesnar of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation”, the UFC said in a statement Friday.

After news broke that Brock may have violated the USADA’s anti-doping policy, Hunt took out his anger on the UFC.

“Well I wanted half but have changed my mind cheaters shouldn’t get s**t I want all of it cheaters don’t deserve s**t.”

“This is not the first time, this is the third time I’ve had to fight someone doping”. What penalty or deterrent is there to make them think twice? Nothing. And the [Nevada Athletic Commission], why should these [expletive] get anything?

“Brock Lesnar has not performed for WWE since WrestleMania”, which was held in April, “and is not scheduled to return until Sunday, August 21”, WWE officials said in a statement released to FOX Sports.

Lesnar provided the AP with copies of three letters notifying him that he had passed USADA drug tests prior to UFC 200.

Well, in a follow up post on his own website, Hunt relayed that he’s “told Dana I want half of Brock’s purse”.

As a result of the failure, Lesnar might have to forfeit between 50-75% of his purse for UFC 200, which could factor into the millions, especially if his pay-per-view bonus is included in that number.

“Lesnar was handed an exemption from a USADA policy which dictates that athletes returning from retirement must give four months” notice so as to begin testing before they compete.
