Arsene Wenger has refuted the suggestion that his Arsenal team was beaten by a Manchester United team bursting with youth and inexperience.
Marcus Rashford is restoring pride at Old Trafford with his remarkable start to his Manchester United career, according to the 18-year-old’s experienced team-mate Juan Mata.
On Rashford, he added: “I think his performance was better than the first match”.
Meanwhile, as United prepare to offer Rashford new terms, Michael Carrick is still waiting to find out if he will be given the chance to stay at Old Trafford beyond the end of the season.
“It is not good for the authority of the referee, the linesman and the fourth referee”.
Rashford then set up Ander Herrera for United’s third before Mesut Ozil reduced the deficit.
Arsenal’s defeat leaves them five points off league leaders Leicester City after the Foxes grabbed a late victor over Norwich on Saturday. He scored two again, four goals in two matches, and that’s an average that is unusual!
Youngster Rashford ended a memorable week with another two-goal display and Schneiderlin believes the 18-year-old has a bright future ahead at the club. Yes, they are younger, but they have a lot of passion, and they want to show everyone they are ready to play in the Premier League.
The second match he has to do what the manager is willing him to do and he did it fantastically.
“We struggled to be risky because United defended very well”. “They spent a lot of money on (Memphis) Depay – you can not call him a player from the academy”.
“And they’ve all looked comfortable, they’ve all settled in really well, and I think everyone else responds to that”.

“Gunners fans know they have a fantastic opportunity to win the Premier League this season, but the team does not seem to understand the enormity of their situation, and what it requires”.
