Lets not pack Dak Prescott off to Canton just yet

With the Dallas Cowboys’ first preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams right around the corner, ardent Dallas supporters are wondering if their beloved franchise quarterback Tony Romo will play even one series of downs. Goff played for the bulk of the second quarter and finished 4/7 with 38 yards and one interception, meaning he improved and went 4/5 for 38 yards following that original shaky drive.

DT Tyrone Crawford is expected to sit out the preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams.

Tonight’s game has a primetime start time and will air on TV channels in most markets as well as being available as a live stream online option.

The Rams’ first touchdown, a run by Benny Cunningham, brought the day’s biggest roar, as though it finally made the move official.

The start was familiar to fans who followed the team in St. Louis for the last 12 seasons, in which it never had a winning year.

The Rams are entering this season with a new home and new quarterback.

The Rams officially opened their second Los Angeles era Saturday at the Coliseum, and while Goff didn’t start, he was the evening’s main attraction.

The fourth-round pick out of Mississippi State looked poised behind the strong Cowboys offensive line, finding Terrance Williams for a 32-yard touchdown with a perfectly placed throw over Lamarcus Joyner.

“I think the best thing about Dak is that he is extremely calm,” Bryant said. On HBO’s “Hard Knocks” this week, Fisher was seen telling his team, “I’m not. going 7-9 or 8-8 or 9-7. we have too much talent here for that”.

One of those questions is who will be the Cowboys backup quarterback to start the season?

Rookie Tight End Tyler Higbee – Former fourth round pick from Western Michigan had an impressive outing against the Cowboys in the first half.

On the previous play, Prescott threw a 22-yard strike to Brice Butler, a pass with the hallmarks of a veteran quarterback: speed, velocity, and accuracy. Todd Gurley did not play for the Rams.

San Francisco LB NA VORRO BOWMAN, who signed a four-year extension with the 49ers earlier this month, led the National Football League with 154 tackles last season. Then, still down four, linebacker Bruce Carter intercepted Austin Davis and returned it for a touchdown to take a 34-24 lead. There were some penalties and dropped balls, and an incomplete dump off to Darius Jackson that was erroneously ruled a fumble at first.
