That the Ravens have had to call on such players and thrust several in key roles can be attributed to the boatload of injuries the team has had at the position, and the front office’s inability to sign and draft quality depth. There is very little to hang your hat on with this current team.

And my response is always the same: “OK, but do you really think he’s going to make a difference?” He is only hurting his young defense more with every turnover. The playing surface was re-sodded again prior to this season, and the team will do so again six times before the Super Bowl.

The only way the Ravens win is if they win ugly (like they did against Mike Vick and the Steelers), and the best way to win these types of close, tooth-and-nail battles is with Forsett. We have to go out there and play fundamental football, take care of the football, and when the plays present themselves, we’ve got to make them.
