Lewandowski: 10 goals in 3 games after Champions League hat trick
Once again showing the attacking flair that makes them one of the most feared clubs in the world, forward Robert Lewandowski and Bayern Munich have pummeled Dinamo Zabreb for four goals over a 15-minute span in the first half of their Champions League Group F match Tuesday at Allianz Arena.

Dinamo arrived in Munich with a 45-game unbeaten streak in all competitions including a 2-1 home win over Arsenal in their Group F opener, but trailed Bayern 4-0 before the half-hour. Bayern’s seven wins and the +20 goal differences at the start of the season is also a league record.
Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez was second after scoring a hat trick in a 5-2 win at Leicester. The Chile worldwide, who has previously played for Udinese and Barcelona, became the first man to score a hat trick in Serie A, the Premier League and the Spanish Liga following his treble on Saturday.
“I want to congratulate my players for tonight”.
Robert Lewandowski says he is still “thirsty for goals” after scoring 10 in his last three appearances for Bayern Munich.
Arsenal had better be wary: Bayern Munich and Lewandowski are taking no prisoners this year.
Bayern host Borussia Dortmund on Sunday in a top-of-the table clash in the Bundesliga, but their Spanish head coach said they can enjoy a few beers at Munich’s annual bumper beer festival before focusing on their next match.
“Six points means we’re on the right path. Tomorrow we’re off to Oktoberfest, after that we’ll have time to think about Dortmund”. We have a very good team with lots of quality.
“People point out that they have Lewandowski and that’s true but they have not beaten us yet”, said Strachan after naming his 27-man squad for the final Group D matches, against the Poles in Hampden Park and away to Gibraltar.
“The expectation of the fans and press is that Bayern win every season and all the trophies we play for”, the defender told Inside Futbol in an exclusive interview. He’s got good pace and enough options in his skillset that he’s tough to defend against, so Pivaric will have to be on top of his game and constantly alert if he’s going to keep Coman at bay.

Coach Zoran Mamic rested several players but the second-string outfit produced an impressive performance, particularly reserve striker Armin Hodzic who scored twice.
