Lewis Hamilton prayed ahead of Monaco F1 Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton took home his first victory in the 2016 Formula One World Championship at an eventful Monaco Grand Prix yesterday.

It was an unusual error for a team usually so efficient in their management of the race.
He told the Guardian: “I think this will be a boost for my mechanics, who have been nervous all year”. The reigning world champion has nothing but gratitude for his teammate after Rosberg let him pass during the Monaco race when it was discovered that Rosberg’s auto could not be pushed to go further.
“My 44th win, in Monaco, when I haven’t won in ages…it feels like the greatest blessing”. “Hopefully it will give them the confidence to know that I’m as strong as I’ve always been and I will be for the rest of the year”.
It was only when listening to Rosberg during post-race media sessions that Hamilton learned what had unfolded, and he went up to his team-mate to express his thanks afterwards.
He made the right call on the tyres, however, with a late change to slicks and got more mileage out of the ultrasofts than expected. “I just want to get the hell out of here to be honest”.
While Hamilton and Rosberg’s rivalry has been on everybody’s lips since the start of the season, this race developed into a fascinating battle between the Brit and Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo.
In the end, the team could not do anything, other than apologize to Ricciardo due to the pit stop blunder that resulted in his second place win.
The Australian driver was bitter in defeat and Horner will worry that one of the best talents in F1 will be so frustrated that he will be tempted by a move to Ferrari.
“But we don’t leave Monaco feeling in any way complacent: Red Bull had the performance this weekend and Montreal and Baku will present some very different challenges for us to tackle. What is really important is that we pull together. we need to refine a few areas”.
“I have no idea what to say about the strategy, I didn’t make the call, the team did”. I thought he had a problem, and as he said he had a problem with keeping the temperatures in.
“It is such a special number for me and my family”.

“I knew when I was behind Nico I was much quicker than him”. We saw the rain this morning and I saw it as another chance to prove myself. I was going to take him on Turn three, on the outside, which not many people do.
