The LG Class is a mid-range handset that has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720.
LG Class will be available in gold, black and silver.
It also has a strong loudspeaker function equipped with a 1watt output for clear sound, and supports 4G LTE and 3G HSPA+, as well as Global Positioning System , NFC, Bluetooth and WiFi. Even though the LG Class may not be a high-end phone, it brings a metal body which promises a premium feel. The Class sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, which the company touts, comes with the image sensor from the LG G4 flagship.
All of the specifications mentioned above clearly puts the LG Class in mid-range territory. The physical buttons are located on the back of the device, which is completely normal (and expected) for LG’s devices.
It is also quite hard to guess whether the phone’s 142 x 71.8 x 7.4 mm body is metal or not, based on the shots alone, but that is most likely a given, considering the teaser slogan – “Something New”. There is also a 16 GB built-in storage space with microSD card slot for further expansion of up to 2 TB. It will run Android Lollipop out of the box and gets its juice from a 2,050mAh battery. There’s no word on whether we’ll see this phone in other markets anytime soon.
