Besides the large battery, LG hopes you’ll be interested in the G Pad II for its price, which the company says will be the same as its predecessor (the original G Pad 10.1 went for 0 at launch).

“The LG G Pad II 10.1 was developed in response to consumers’ feedback and optimized for multimedia consumption.” said Chris Yie, vice president and head of marketing communications for LG Mobile Communications Company.
There’s also a MicroSD slot to expand storage space, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.
The 10.1-inch G Pad II boasts of a display set at a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and will draw its power from a Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.26GHz and tagged with a 2GB of RAM. The tablet is powered by a quad-core processor and comes in LTE and Wi-Fi variants.
LG has announced a follow-up to last year’s affordable LG G Pad 10.1 tablet, with a bunch of notable improvements. The interface comes with Reader Mode that reduces the blue light of the display backlight to offer a comfortable reading experience. There’s also the seemingly now-standard features, including Dual Window, which lets users run two apps side-by-side.
The G Pad II 10.1 launch announcement comes a week after the unveiling of the LG G Pad II 8.0, which is also likely to be showcased at the IFA event next month. The device measures 254.3 x 161.1 x 7.8 mm and weighs 489 grams.
It will be available in the color Brilliant Bronze and the pricing of the device hasn’t been announced yet.
The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
