LG Max launched in India

The LG Max has been unveiled in India, priced at the equivalent of $172 United States dollars. The LG Max was launched after the Bello II device.

Further, this device comes with 8GB of internal memory with an expansion option via microSD card slot. 10,990 in the Indian market. That being said, LG has just announced this smartphone in India as well, but under a different name, read on.

The LG Max comes with an 8MP BSI rear snapper with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper. The smartphone also has Gesture Shot feature to enable users capture selfies by simply opening and closing their palm in front of the camera sensor. The 5-inch screen features a 480 x 854 FWVGA resolution. The smartphone supports HSPA+ networks upto 21Mbps and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and USb 2.0.

A 2540mAh battery completes the package.

The LG Max runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box with a proprietary interface on top.

The smartphone measures 140.8×71.6×9.6mm and weighs 155 grams.

Here is what Amit Gujral (Marketing chief) at LG Mobiles India claims “Most of the people who use Internet on smartphones use 3G services as 4G is still at a nascent stage in our country”. The phone will also be available in a single or dual-SIM variant as well in White, Tan, and Gold color combination.

Amidst onslaught from Lenovo, Xiaomi, Micromax’s Yu and many other offering enticing handsets at very affordable prices, LG too has been trying to attract smartphone mavens with attractive products.
