Check out the reasons that you must pre-order the LG flagship from below.

The pre-registrations window is open till May 31, and Flipkart says that the LG G5 will be shipped on June 1.

The LG G5 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 820 SoC that offers advanced features including Qualcomm Spectra and Hexagon DSP to provide additional power savings and high-resolution images of DSLR quality.

Other features include fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, 4G LTE/VoLTE support, and hybrid dual SIM support.

The handset also comes with 32GB of storage built in and a microSD card slot for extra storage, there are also three cameras on the device.

The phone further comes with a 16 megapixel rear camera coupled with 8 megapixel front snapper. The phone is backed by a 2,800mAh slide-out battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Samsung has been doing extremely well with the Galaxy S7/Edge in India, thanks to some relatively aggressive pricing and general overall performance (specially the camera), so it’s tough for LG G5 to compete straight away considering it’s already on the back foot with a 2 month delay in launch.

LG says customers who pre-book LG G5 will get the companion device – LG Cam Plus – free with the smartphone. The Smartphone is now available for pre-booking in India Via.
